I think if you made one of the squares a darker shade, or black or outlined in black, it would tie it in with the bold dark type. I like the squares, but I think they need to be more tied in with the type. I think you did a great job! I really like the typeface, and it is a modern or timeless look. I really like it for our project.
Are the 3 squares on Each side of the text necessary? I think it is confusing.
