Information for Artist Talk on September 24th, 5:30 Beard Gallery

Each group is to meet and discuss what they will contributing for the artist talk.  Your written talk should be posted to the blog no later that Friday 9-20.  1 post per group.

Include a list of questions of at least 5 questions to ask Simon during his Q & A.

Groups:

Group 1:  Introduction & Discuss Simon's work and how it is relevant to this installation.

Group 2: Technical Aspects : How the materials ( imagery, recordings etc..) were collected & what was your experience on the street.  Why did you choose to use what you used in the installation?  Why write out the text to read and also hear in the space?


Group 3:  Concept & what the work is about.  What did you do with the material once they were collected.  Why did you choose these questions?  What is the concept behind the piece & how did you come to it?
